You really don't want rare-earth mineral production at the levels America would need being on-shored to America.

The process of extracting the stuff is incredibly toxic, and leaves massive swaths of land uninhabitable.

The process of separating the valuable elements is difficult and dirty creating a massive amount of waste compared to what it produces.

That hasn't been true for a while. Linux is much better for gaming. You'll get a 10%-20% base improvement in almost every game just because Linux doesn't come with windows bloat, spyware, and "helpful" A.I. hogging up your system resources.

Linux has a thing called Gamer Mode where it minimizes processing power to everything else and dedicates most of the system to your games.

Also windows takes up something between 4-5 gigs of ram just to run. My Linux mint uses 2-2.5 for the whole operating system and on-ram swapping.

Gaming on Linux is the future.
