I'm enjoying Agatha All Along, the Disney+ series that picks up where Wanda Vision left off with the main villain depowered and working as a cop who thinks magic isn't real.

It started out as a good who-dun-it murder mystery but Disney execs had a panic attack when they realized there would be no sky beams or laser blasts so they had to bring magic back into the story a few episodes in.

You can tell the script had a hard re-write after the first episode was made. The tone shifts wildly until it settles on something new but it still turns out pretty good. Not as good as the original concept but still it's been pretty entertaining.

I would wait until after October 30, 2024 when the last episode comes out then binge it on onionplay.

The new season of Vox Machina is also in the works. I'm waiting for it to be fully released Oct. 24 before watching it.

It NEVER SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED! Making retro characters woke and PC is like remaking Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and not using dwarves… oh wait, that is EXACTLY what Di$ney did, isn't it? People do not want and actively work against wokeness now. Companies are dumping the DEI directors because they were making the company DIE. You want to be an ethnically challenged freak-show? By all means, do so, but society in the end will reject you and you will die alone and forgotten.

What you call "woke" I just call lazy. Dressing up the same tired stories in different racial, gender, sexual orientation, etc. identities doesn't make them any more appealing. Doesn't add anything. Not innovative. Disney in particular is starved of creativity. It's the same thing they did with The Lion King remake, which I still haven't seen. They just dressed it up with CGI instead of identity politics, so no one will call that "woke"; but it's the same problem.

Anyway, name some stuff that is worth watching.
