On the one hand, the fundraiser's only been up for ~19 hours and they're already just $570 away from their $36,000 goal (as of this typing). On the other hand, according to the description this fundraiser will only recoup money they've already spent trying to fix the problem, and the cheapest additional attempt to fix it will cost another $52,000. Then if that doesn't work, they either have to close down, or spend another estimated $161,000 before labour and materials to dig up and subsequently patch up a public street. What a shitshow. 💩
