This seems versy similar to the Postfurries, in that it's all women and eunuchs. It's less about creating characters and going on adventures, and more about exploring psychodrama.

This has nothing to do with Helelos. Floraverse is a cult, and Helelos is crazy. These two things exist simultaneously.

Papayakitty has a 2000 page Kiwifarms thread, and now there's a site documenting the abuse with receipts. Something's up.

OK but Helelos has a strong preoccupation with Floraverse and frequently makes references to it/claims to have been abused/victimized by it and talks about how evil it is. Not to mention his old fursona was a bird that resembles the character in your OP. On top of all that, this here:

Yeah, that's the exact kind of thing he would say. You couldn't have made this look more like a Helelos thread if you tried.

All that aside, it looks like he doesn't have anything to do with the website you linked. PurpleKecleon (as she was formerly known) is a well-documented drama queen but at least this site seems to put things into a concise format so you don't have to look through a 2,000-page Kiwi Farms thread.

Helelos is a trainwreck independent of Floraverse's influence, but there might be credibility to his claims of being abused there.

PK is doing the weaponized empathy thing for sure. The Lisa Frank law is in play. The more cute the art, the more vicious the artist is.

"private discords"? nah. i haven't been in the discords for two years or something like that, but they had dedicated conflict resolution channels that were basically public. i forget, maybe you had to have been in the discord for a bit to get access, but they weren't private or anything. they had stopped doing ""scenes"" for conflict resolution by the time i left.

i've spoken to people on both sides of the situation and my takeaway was a mix between "some people were thrashed when they could've just been fucking talked to like adults" and "some people were fucking insane and pretended to be victims to gain sympathy afterwards (helelos, rina, jolly)". it's not a cult, just a bunch of traumatized furries stepping on each other's traumas and making vent art about it.
