>>3772640As someone who's known Shmorky since the late 90's, here's the cliff's notes about him.
-Shmorky (Dave Kelley) was originally a babyfur/cub artist and roleplayer who went by the name DaveBunny. He also did some flash animations, notably Purple Pussy which got him noticed outside of the furry community.
-He lived in the same town as Somethingawful founder Lowtax (Richard Kyanka), and the two eventually became friends through the newgrounds flash community.
-As somethingawful got bigger, Shmorky more frequently would donate art and animation to the website, eventually leading to him being a full-time employee of the site, he became a forum moderator, editor, and frequent cartoonist on the site under the title 'Flash Tub'. This is what people meant by him being a 'goon'…goon meaning someone affiliated with Somethingawful.
-People on the forums dug up his old cub art, and tried to bring it up to Lowtax to get Shmorky fired, but Lowtax dismissed it all as hearsay. Lowtax defended Shmorky for many years, and the two of them became very close friends and roommates. Shmorky was often tasked with looking after Lowtax's children when he was at work.
-Eventually a girl came forward on the Somethingawful forums, claiming to be Shmorky's ex, and that Shmorky had groomed her when she was underaged, providing extensive logs of the type of stuff Shmorky was making her do when she was 14-15 (involving scat eating, and other such stuff).
-These allegations and logs forced Shmorky into hiding. He eventually trooned out and re-branded himself as piss artist 'Sandypants'. How do I know this was Shmorky? Because my ex was involved heavily with roleplaying with Shmorky under this alt. It was 100% him.
