What is ZooCommunity.org?
ZooCommunity is an open, friendly and safe SFW forum / community for Zoosexuals and allies.

It aims to be a well-moderated welcoming forum where everyone from ages 13 and up is welcome.

Our mission is to de-stigmatize Zoosexuality, provide a safe space for members to get help and advice from the community and talk about Zoosexuality as a sexual orientation, not simply a fetish.

Think of ZooCommunity.org as being similar to an LGBT support forum, but aimed at zoosexuals instead.

How to get started on ZooCommunity?
In order to get started, you just have to create an account!
Once you have registered your account and confirmed your email address, it is mandatory that you introduce yourself to the rest of the community.

Economy
In order to reward our user's engagement and contributions we have a simple economy based on "ZooPoints" which can be earned by performing simple actions such as writing a post, publishing a thread or voting on polls. There is a more or less stable relationship between the effort dedicated to creating content and the points earned.

These ZooPoints can then be spent in following ways:

1. Thank users for meaningful, interesting or helpful content
When you click the "Thank you!" button at the bottom of each posts, you will spend 30 points in order to increase the post author's reputation by 1. They will also receive 15 bonus ZooPoints as an extra reward.

This means that creating quality content on ZooCommunity is definitely worth it as you'll incentivize other users to increase your reputation and gift you points!

2. Buy badges in the ZooPoints shop!
Once you have collected enough ZooPoints, you can use them to buy vanity badges that will be displayed next to your username. You can also gift many of these badges to fellow users as a personal reward to them.

In the future we might enable a vanity lounge / forum that can only be accessed with enough points or when a specific set of badges is collected.

Note: ZooCommunity will never use its economy features to lock or sell user's content in any way. ZooPoints introduce mechanics that are fun, cosmetic or social but without reducing or obstructing our mission of building an open, friendly, wholesome and safe community.

Rules
These are the general rules that are applicable to all sub-forums. Please keep in mind that some sub-forums might have their own specific additional rules.

You must be 13 years or older to join this site.
You may not register with your real identity. Especially if you are under 18 years old.
You may not create multiple accounts on this site. Contact the staff if you want to change your username.
You must join and use this site in good faith, contributing to a safe, open and kind environment.
You must maintain a professional and polite attitude. While you can disagree with other people's opinions, you should always show respect towards other members and refrain from insulting, harassing or trying to convince others to do the same.
Please report any post or user that infringes a rule or does not contribute to a respectful and welcoming environment with their messages / attitude.
The content rating of ZooCommunity.org is PG-13 by default unless specified otherwise. Talking about sexuality is perfectly fine in PG-13 areas, but the topics should not include sexually loaded details that are better reserved to a mature audience.
You may not ask, publicly or via PM, for sexually explicit content to any user. Please keep in mind that PMs are moderated.
You may not ask other people their age and adult members, whenever possible, should refrain from disclosing their age. Members under 18 are not allowed to disclose their age or age range.
Because this board is used by minors, please refrain from posting your contact details, asking anyone here to chat with you offsite, or sending new members private messages as a way of meeting them.

Also, do not use zoosexuality to justify other political views, for example, relating to gender identity, race, religion, immigration, etc… As justifiable as they may be, this is not the place.
Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia or any other form of opinion or expression that attacks or degrades another person for their identity is not permitted.
Expressions or apology of actions that threaten other people's lives, physical integrity, freedom or property is not permitted. Even if they are not members of the forum.
Content that depicts, represents or glorifies animal abuse or zoosadism is absolutely not permitted.

Privacy Policy
On ZooCommunity we take your privacy very seriously. For that reason, personal information such as your email address or IP address is only visible to the site owner. No other site admins or moderators have access to your email address or IP address.

However, by using ZooCommunity you agree that we can collect this information and use it for moderation purposes, combined with automatic plugins or scripts that make it possible to detect malicious users and alert moderators without having to disclose any personal data.

You should also know that Private Messages are moderated and could be read by an administrator or moderator if there is a report of that message or suspicion that a user might be harmful or breaking the site's rules.

Finally, in regards to all content written or shared on this forum, we allow our users to disable their account and hide all their posts if they want to leave ZooCommunity. However, the original messages will still be accessible to site administrators for moderation purposes. For example, if a malicious user has engaged in harassment or animal abuse, we will use that information to report them to the authorities.

That said, the ZooCommunity staff will never make any removed messages public against the will of the author. In case of a malicious user we will either ban them and/or report them to the authorities. We will, however, never disclose those messages to other third parties. Finally, in case of an infraction, ban or report to the authorities we reserve the right to:

- Publicly state the reason for a ban and the banned user.
- Publicly state if a certain user had to be reported to the authorities and the reason for such measure.

Once again, we will not publish any infringing content that has been hidden unless the author provides us with authorization. We will only disclose that an action has been taken and for what reason.

Data retention:
Finally, we will only retain your connection data (ip address, browser user-agent and any similar temporary data) for a maximum of 365 days.

In regards to forum content, we will display your posts indefinitely unless you ask us to remove your messages. In that case we will soft-delete them first and hard-delete them after 180 days from the live version of the website. Any backups will be deleted after further 365 days.

In regards to your email address, we will hard-delete it immediately and it will be irretrievable from any backup in 365 days. Please consider using a throwaway email address if this is a concern for you.

Terms of Service
Currently, as the site is relatively new and still in early access, there is no warranty, compensation or expectation provided by ZooCommunity.
The site staff takes all possible measures to protect the information and privacy of its users and to make the site available as much as possible. However, by using ZooCommunity you agree that you will not hold the site staff legally responsible for any security incidents, outages or harmful interactions with other users.

We hope to be able to provide you with proper guarantees in a future, but right now it is important that you understand that you agree to use this site under your own risk. In order to minimize any associated risk, please consider using a throwaway email address, a VPN and to not disclose personally identifiable information.

Also, please keep in mind that it's trivial for anyone to register on ZooCommunity. Even if some boards are restricted to registered members, we advise you to not post anything you wouldn't otherwise say in a completely public forum.

Remember, if you haven't written an introduction, you won't be able to use the site.
