I'm not dead, I've just been spending a lot of time at the hospital doing PT, my spine was basically turned into dust, my ribs are broken, most of my joints are damaged, and I've got a lot of torn/injured muscles. Also, I can't drink, or drive, so I noticed how generally messy I've been while drunk for a decade, and I've been spending my off time cleaning my house in a pain killer and lidocaine fueled blood rage. I'm guessing all my braces are acting like +1 endurance RPG equipment, and I've got a fuck ton of them.
Also my old computer chair did not have upper back or neck support, so I couldn't sit at my computer too long without hating life… so I bought this

I'm super tired, and only bought 3 mikes hard's. If I'm not asleep in 3 hours, I'll be thoroughly surprised. I don't even know how I'd throw up with a hangover, I can't bend over. I guess I'd just have to stand straight up in the shower and vomit directly in front of me onto the wall or something, kinda like what I do mentally every morning when I look into the mirror to shave.
I'm not even all that bothered by the general pain from the injuries, but this fucking neck brace is a form of torture that should have been banned by the GC. It digs into my damaged sternum, which I kinda took care of by slapping on a thick gel ldocaine patch on where it makes contact, digs into my back when I sleep (I can't even use pillows) or sleep on my side because ribs, and worse of all, it 𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑪𝑬𝑺 𝑴𝑬 𝑻𝑶 𝑴𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑬𝒀𝑬 𝑪𝑶𝑵𝑻𝑨𝑪𝑻.

>>3703122I'd be in patient, but there is this ridiculous thing where I don't qualify since I can move around on my own, so I'm only eligible for out patient care. The VA is going to cover some nurse to come in and give in home assistance to me daily, but it isn't going to start for another nearly two weeks, by then I won't need it.
Well maybe, I broke off a chunk of my spinal cord in the 3rd disk or whatever its called, and they're tossing around consolations with neuro-surgery on whether I need surgery to have it removed. If that happens, I have no idea what state I'll be in once I'm out of surgery. It'll probably happen.
Luckily, the only college class I'm taking over the summer is Ethics, and its an online class. Even if I'm bedridden for part of it, I don't see how it would stop me from reading and typing. Its a pretty basic bitch class. Considering I've aced all my online classes drunk thus far, I'm pretty sure I can handle some morphine and still complete my work.

I'm like that giant swirling vortex of trash in the pacific ocean, its became less of a fixable problem, and more of an unstoppable force of nature to just work around and hope for the best.
