I for one am really pissed that the whole world has banned Flash, including Adobe themselves since they implemented that damned killswitch.
Funny how all those FOSS geeks always talk up a storm about freedom of choice, but they had no problem celebrating the Flash killswitch like it was some kind of farmhouse that killed the Wicked Witch of the West. It's amazing how quickly people will turn on their cherished principles when it's emotionally convenient. A sandbox could easily solve the overblown security issues, but it's not like anyone wants to actually fix problems when they can push agendas instead.
If anyone is interested, the last version of Flash without the killswitch is v32.0.0.371. I use Ruffle.rs on my web site to emulate my Flash commissions, and it seems to work well, even if load times are really, really slow.
