There is no better watch than this legend

>>3692676I had one of those when I was in college and basic training. I have much more expensive fancier ones from Rolex and Diesel now, but as far as ease of use and versatility goes, my casio was the best watch I've ever owned.
I only bought one because back in basic training it was basically the only watch they'd let you wear. Then I was like "meh" its not like you're trying to be fancy wearing ABU's.
Now that I dress to impress, I'm more concerned with how the watch compliments my outfit than its actual value as a time piece.

>>3692812My dad likes heavy watches, personally I like light weight ones that you can forget you are wearing.
Most of my outfits are Calvin Klein, so very silky and easy to forget. Its distracting when everything you wear feels breezy but then you have this heavy ass Rolex on your wrist.
ce64fde5 No.3692849
>>3692831Most people don't know this, but Rolex's as expensive as they are leave a lot to be desired when it comes to custom-ability of the band. Both my Rolex's are loose and kinda shit, the smaller linked bands offered from companies like Diesel are a lot more customizable.
I can't think of any way to really build up my wrist, so I guess Rolex is either it fits or it does not. Rolex does not fit me.
I could probably get a half link special ordered, but I don't really want to spend 600 dollars on something like that.

>>3692861a Rolex has no thicker glass than a regular watch. Trust me I shattered one with my wrist
As long as you don't go around deflecting punches with wrist turns, you have nothing to worry about.

>>3692861If you want more functionality than just "what time is it" then I'd rather just use a smart phone when necessary as opposed to carrying a brick on my wrist all the time.
Watches worn as jewelry are just that. Fucking jewelry. They're they very definition of Veblen goods. Might as well carry around an empty designer purse to go with it.

>>3692930I don't see why it being big is such a problem. It isn't heavy either, why are you all acting like this thing weighs significantly more than a terrorist watch? And yeah, I could pull out a smartphone to check the time, except when I'm working. Then it is really nice to have a timer for certain processes, and being able to see the time when my hands are dirty/oily makes it worth it.
I don't buy expensive watches either. My gold Seiko was passed down to me from a family member.

The only thing i carry in my messenger bag are psychology text books and my weird teeny tiny amazon fire laptop thing that I only use to write reports.

I actually asked my liquor store of choice if I could just buy an entire shipment of vodka and spiked tea for myself, but they were like… no.
Even my aunt who owns a bar told me that she wont sell me an entire shipment of vodka.

>>3692947> I've lost count of the number of keyboard and mice I've killed with spilt beersIt's too bad the original KeyTronic company went out of business. They had a patented method for making their keyboards immune to spills.
I bought one of the new KeyTronic keyboards but sadly it lacks the spill proofing. I guess the Asian company that now owns the name was too cheap to buy the rights to the patent.

>>3695046smol is good. I had a really shit situation when I was in band min middle/high school. I played the tennor sax. My band instructors wanted me to practice, my dad would attack me if i practiced at home, I had a gun pulled on me when I tried to drive my chevy tiara van to the woods to practice, and the school refused to let me stay on the grounds to practice. I quit, no more sax for me.
I can play a number of other instruments. The guitar, violin, cello, banjo (kinda), and a keyboard piano. I just have them all hooked into my computer and my computer hooked into a headset.
All my music is silent to everyone. Everything I do is silent, unseen, unheard, and in the dark.

A guy I know fished a 20w Hughes-&-Kettner tube amp that somebody threw away out of his apartment's garbage dumpster. It only needed a new fuse or something and then worked fine, meanwhile used ones still trade for about $900. I was jelly.
