>>3616268The fixed routing exampled is horrible inefficient and has obviously more travel cost when you are shipping -backwards- as it not very smart. (In a travel-free system it may be necessary to adjust a surplus flow in order to simulate a delay for a better resulting consistency, but is otherwise wasting fuel and energy and therefore worse if your system requires it, in an organic system it would make sense in a productive sytem it would be stupid)

>>3616282Drones don't use logistics they just drop items off on a pad so wherever the pad is the drone is going to go and fixed routing doesn't happen with drones unless you are doing it in a warzone there is no reason to use drones anyway because navigating warzone may be the only reason you would need fixed routing in a supply chain.

>>3616317>>3616349Fixed and Flexible Routing implies a risk hazard to the supply chain and minimal recovery. While hub and spoke the issue of packet loss or information relays are more insurable, the direct pathing along with the use of 'hub and spoke' mainlines together to form a stronger network while flexibility and fixed routing work as a strategem amid uncertain conditions and travel-types (the hub and spoke platform can easily -activate proper timings- in their automation versus ill-defined routing options and otherwise wild-pathing of a "flexible" or fixed route.)

Even straight and simple A to B is logistics.

How does this work?
I dont wanna read the thread from the start to figure out what's going on.
Do I draw an OC in the oekaki and then I get to become part of this fictional world?

Looking forward to see it when it's done.

But I don't get it why you don't use SAI, cause it just works and the minimum requirements are essentially zero (runs fine even on my 1000MHz Pentium III with 512MB RAM that I set up for old games)

I need a new tablet, and a new headphone set. I'll probably get them for myself for my birthday.

Here's a world-building map I came across similar to the one you posted. It seems like a good deal of extra work, but I guess it pays off. It did for Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Richard Adams, among others. Going that extra mile makes a difference.
