BNA is just pure mediocrity rather than anything good. It had a few really good explorations of 'if a character could turn into a beast form, what would they use it for? What would it do to their social standing/normie friends?' I was hoping it'd explore that more but it went for some dumb religion/political corruption angle instead. None of its characters are that interesting, though the ones that I liked don't get the development.
The ep where Michiru leaves the city and just uses her rare time as a human enjoying being a regular girl with a friend of hers was a rare well written ep and showed what they could've done if they tried harder. The baseball ep was wild fun but could've been in any Trigger show. It being in this seemed especially weird cus why would their weird death baseball be a popular sport in a world which seems relatively peaceful other than crime? I assume regular people are like the mom and pop Michiru lives with, and I don't see them enjoying televised murder. Tl:dr, questioning Trigger logic.

A lot of the episodes were in dire need of a couple of script rewrites, gotta wonder what happened there.
I still liked the show, but it's a gimmicky guilty pleasure. It should have come out a decade or two ago, would have made a much bigger splash and ignited more controversy.
