Sen. Sanders and Rep. Khanna introduce a bill to end corporate welfare forcing companies like Amazon and Walmart to pony up the money they have been sucking out of your tax money to subsidize it's employees with food stamps, medicaid, and government housing.

A 100% tax on corporations with 500+ employees up to the total amount of subsidies received by their workers.

>Or they can buy expensive robots.

I hope so. The faster automation happens the sooner we can get to giving everyone a guaranteed living wage.

It's a very simple truth. You can't run an economy with a lower class that doesn't have money to buy products. Efficiency is good and maximizing profits is good for business but if we work people to death to get it we end up causing huge healthcare costs and social problems.

The faster we remove humans from the work force the better it will be for everyone. Humans are the weakest link.

This will probably be the last generation to even think about driving a car because self-driving cars will become so common. By the time our great grandchildren are adults the very idea of trusting a human to drive a vehicle will seem barbaric and crazy.

Giving people free money leads to high birth rates and rapidly growing consumption. High birth rates lead to population overshoot as their economic consequences only become apparent with delay. Overshoot leads to economic recession, high unemployment - the bust after the boom - which is the deeper the faster and greater the social change you introduced into the system.

Ooooh, snap. It looks like VP Mike Pence might have been the high ranking government official who wrote a op-ed saying that they need to invoke the 25th and kick Trump out of office because he is mentally unfit.

The person who wrote the article referred to Trump having no "Loadstar" or guiding principle to navigate by.

Pence is the only one in the party to use that term that anyone can find. Trump responded to this finding by tweeting TREASON!!

Different life strategies. One reason why the rich become and stay rich is because they conserve their resources, while the poor become and stay poor because they throw every bit of extra they have into having large families.

>>3522022

>is that why fertility rates are negatively correlated with being a modern developed country with a functioning welfare state?

Lower levels of development and culture favors high breeding strategies and people living in squalor can still succeed. In the developed countries you have to keep up with the rest of the society to some extent to not become a total pariah, which prevents the sort of shanty-town-shit-everywhere-babies-by-the-dozen culture from re-appearing.

>>3522024

>He's probably one of those Reganomics idiots who thinks black women are having 10 children to get welfare checks.

It's a simple observation that uneducated uncultured people breed more, tend to waste their wealth on trivialities rather than educating or culturing themselves. The tragedy of the situation is that when you pull off a socialist revolution and implement full UBI, you cause the lower strata of society to increase in proportion rapidly because they now have the money to do it, while the higher classes who kept up your level of development get destroyed or flee.

In other news, for related information that illustrates the problem:
https://phys.org/news/2018-09-genes-key-academic-success.html

>Genes are key to academic success, study shows
>Researchers found educational achievement to be highly stable throughout schooling, meaning that most students who started off well in primary school continued to do well until graduation. Genetic factors explained about 70 percent of this stability, while the twins shared environment contributed to about 25 percent, and their nonshared environment, such as different friends or teachers, contributed to the remaining 5 percent.

You want a population that is intelligent enough to limit its own growth before shit hits the fan? Too bad, more than half of your population is simply too stupid for that, by their very nature. The only thing that keeps them more or less in check is actually the high wealth disparity and the high standards of society kept by the middle and upper classes.

>fertility rates are negatively correlated with being a modern developed country with a functioning welfare state?

The modern welfare states have developed over a long period of time, making small changes and building up social reforms little by little.

Due to social inertial, every change causes some sort of boom-bust cycle where people suddenly find themselves with more money or more opportunities, begin to spend the money or seize the opportunities, and then find they overdid it because they were poor at predicting when the good times would end. Then comes the backlash, recovery, overshoot, backlash, recovery, overshoot...

If the changes are small enough, the cycling will stabilize and stop eventually. If the changes are big enough, you get a revolution after revolution and the society boom-busts itself to pieces.

>So you are saying the wealthy are doing the poor a favor by keeping them in poverty because otherwise they would be too stupid to stop from breeding humanity out of existence?

It's not a deliberate doing - that's just how things are now. There's so much competition for jobs and the wages are so low that people find it difficult to support families. As soon as the lower classes get money, another baby boom ensues and that temporary infusion of wealth leads to greater populations of poor people later, which makes the poor even more poor and the wealth disparity between the rich and the poor even greater.

It is possible to make a social reform by small adjustments to prevent that form happening, but it takes a hundred years and people like you are just too dumb to accept that.

For example, the US fertility rate was almost at the replacement level in the great depression. Then right in the middle of it the New Deal was made and the fertility rate shot back up, then WW2 war profits shot it even further up, and then Vietnam and Korea and the end of reconstruction in Europe brought the economy back down and the fertility rate dropped with it.

The issue is that people, poor people mostly, are only happy when the economy is going up because that's when they can afford some of the nice things and they can have babies and large families, but what goes up must come down and they inevitably overshoot the "carrying capacity" of the economy.

When the economy and populations are stable, most people are just scraping by, and instead of recognizing this steady state they vote for the socialists to give them money so they can keep partying with wealth that they didn't earn. That in the US has caused a debt spiral that's still going on, and shit is about to hit the fan. The question is only when.

So? That was right after the baby boomers were born, and even when people were having bigger families, they didn't have unlimited resources to have even more babies - at some point you run out of steam and the fertility goes down - then when the kids start having kids some 20 years later, provided that they have the income to do so, the fertility goes right back up.

But when the boomers grew up to continue in their parents' footsteps, the bonanza had ended. Oil crisis, loss of profts, end of post-war reconstruction...

>the economy has apparently not been in recession in the early 1980s, late 80s/early 90s, briefly in 2001, and 2008, but in-fact been completely stable.

In comparison to the New Deal and post WW2 boom, the other cycles are small. That doesn't mean the same as "stable". Though if the economy is unstable and goes into recessions every couple years, people are unsure about their own futures and fertility rates remain low.

People can be happy living in mud as long as they don't know any better.

The issue is that people are still animals. We've evolved out of simper survival machines, and the same troglodyte shit is still there under the surface. Still the people in the develping countries have large families to farm their fields, because the more children you have the more work you can get done and the more wealth you make.

In the western world, when you set up a society where everybody gets more or less equal income by redistribution, then again the mode of obtaining wealth becomes about having more children, because the wealth that you control is dependent on the size of the family you control.

Instead of growing sons to farm the field, you grow sons to farm the UBI system. Over many generations, the fastest growing demographic takes over, so even if you start with a small proportion of welfare queens, eventually you will be up to your chin with them.

A broken clock at least gives the right time twice a day, so you are right on this one :

Corporate welfare is like every welfare: It's socialism. It creates monopolies overriding the logic of capitalism and creates crisis, which also profits the jew.

Corporations are like leeches in society who lives on welfare, they do not wish to play by the rules of offer and demand, known as capitalism. Monopolies and globalization are the reason the world of today no longer have real freedom in entrepreneurship and competitiveness, which are the pillar of a self regulated economy.

The taxation of the 500+ em[ployees corporations will however not help much, for working in human resources i have to remind you that the US has a lot of taxes, all the deductions you will see on your payslip if you ever get hired (who knows, quotas?) and all the employer-side deductions and levies you aren't aware of also goes to fund the government.

Even a capitalist system can need a few taxes, to at least preserve a nation from going into a complete chaos or being invaded by any foreign force, but the balance is still actually on a level of socialism.

>>3522015
No money os free money, as long you proceed to do this, you exercize a method of control over the people you pay. Corporations will appreciate the fact any idiot will be able to buy their new overpriced Apple product, watch more Netflix drama, buy more soy filled burgers, and so on, achieving what is known as corporate socialism is the dream of the jew. An absolute control of the population, and the loss of choice for absolute consumerism, and the loss of freedom.

You're going to work hard 10 hours per day for paying people like 3B's new gaming console and a new smart device so he can insult your kind on the internet.

All welfare is eventually corporate welfare, because in a free market any loose un-earned money floats up top.

You raise housing subsidies, they increase rent. You give out more food stamps, they jack up the prices - and it's not even the big corporations that do that. Every mom & pop corner store will jack up prices when the poorest half of their customers can suddenly afford to buy more - in part to offset the cost of the increased taxes that they now have to pay to pay for the welfare programs.

Minimum wage and welfare is never going to lift people out of poverty because when you give everyone free money, that just becomes the new zero. It merely keeps them alive.

What is confusing is that you're taxing them the money and then immediately giving it back.

The corporations simply collect any welfare you hand out right back since they are the market, they control the prices, and in a free market whenever the consumers have more money to spend without real productivity to match (welfare = money for no new value), the prices go up. It cannot raise the poor to a better living standard because the tax-welfare-profit-tax loop still leans in favor of the corporations, and the only one that really benefits is the government that gets to play the hero and collect votes out of people who merely think they're helping.

Because that is how economies work. If you hand a millionaire an extra million dollars they might put it in a bank, an off shore account or buy stocks but that does little to create actual value and stimulate actual productivity in your economy.

If you hand a million dollars to poor people they spend it and that money goes to businesses that then spend it giving slightly less poor people (Workers) money to spend which they spend and so forth and so on all the way up the economic food chain.

Unlike in the first example, in the latter example every step along the way creates actual products with actual value being added to the economy. It changes money into stuff.

Money only has value because we agree it does. Stuff has value because it's real.

TLDR:
Giving poor people money changes imaginary value into actual value and counteracts inflation. Giving rich people money just makes inflation worse.

Why would they? Whether you hand the money to the business indirectly, they're not hiring any more workers to sell any more products - it's just the prices that change. The situation is identical to just handing the corporations the money as it is, because the poor people aren't getting any wealthier, the working classes aren't getting any wealthier, and the rich classes are still doing the same old thing they always did.

Literally the only difference in the system is that tons of resources get wasted on government bureaucracy. This tax-and-welfare system ultimately serves nobody except the socialist who can pose as a robin-hood and buy votes from poor people who become dependent on the handouts.

When the common man goes to the market to buy an apple, they pay a price that reflects the purchasing power of the common man - how much money is available to the man on the street. The financial markets, equities, etc. rich man games instead act like Scrooge's money vault, locking up money away from the common consumer.

When you tax the rich for the point that they have money and others don't, and spread the money around to the poor, it's like blowing up Scrooge's vault. You haven't actually accomplished anything.

It's not an apology for the rich. It's just an observation of how the market works.

Money makes the world go round. I give you stuff, you give me money. I give you money, you give me different stuff. The money is created as debt and it circulates until the debt matures and then it vanishes, and the amount of money in circulation is regulated by making new debt. The exact amount of money in circulation is irrelevant because the prices change to divide the number of money approximately with the stuff on the market. When the average (median) guy has more money, prices go up, and vice versa, because all sellers adjust their prices according to what the other guy can pay, i.e. how much money they have, and how much money they have is eventually simply about how much money has been created by debt and let loose on the market.

Now, some few people have more money to their name than the rest of the people combined, but they're not using them to buy any stuff. That money is effectively out of the game, locked down in a grand poker game played between the rich such that approximately 20% of people hold 80% of the money, or whatever counts as money, at any given time. This gives the rich tremendous power, because that money could in theory be used to buy all sorts of stuff.

So, the prices on the market settle according to the 20% of all money that is available to the average guy, and if the average guy got, say, 30% of the money, then the prices would increase to the same effect. Bread would still cost bread, cars would still cost cars - only the numbers change.

So what happens when you tax the money ouf of the rich gamblers and give it to the poor isn't making the poor rich, or even average income. The poor guy becomes poor again because the worth of his money depends on the amount of stuff that the whole economy produces, and that didn't change one bit. For a short moment, you get an economic frenzy as the people spend the money without doing any more labor because none is required to earn the money - it's a handout after all - and then you get an economic crash as the supply fails to meet the demand, and the people who you were subsidizing with your welfare are now back in the bread line asking for more free money.

But the government that promises people money is always more popular than the one that cuts back subsidies and welfare, so you get a never-ending cycle of tax and spend, tax and spend, tax, borrow and spend.

No.3522375

>>3522370

this is more or less the opposite of how welfare costs actually work. they're called automatic stabilisers for a reason: because when private sector spending crashes (from the recession that came before welfare spending went up.) they automatically jack up government spending to compensate for the missing demand. the alternative would be that when a recession came and unemployment went up, it would spiral upwards and onwards indefinitely as people's purchasing power hit zero.

If you give poor people money, they spend it on things poor people buy, then companies have money to invest, expand, and pay more employees or if they don't want to expand, invest invest in other companies which create jobs, because the money you give poor people goes first to slightly less poor people, then to slightly less poor people than them, and then to slightly less poor people than those, all the way up the economic ladder.

The process of getting the money from the bottom to the top created new opertunity, expands industry, and makes life better for a lot of people as it rises.

If you just give it straight to the guy at the top, which we both agree is where it will end up, then you only help that one person.

This is one of the dangers of monopolies. It reduces the growth created when you pass the money around through various companies on it's way to the top. If you give a poor person money and the only place they can spend it is Walmart, then growth starts and ends when Walmart says it does.

The power of the free market is crippled when you give the money straight to the people at the top.

He and his wife have worked for 40 years after going to college. Why should he sell the homes he has earned?

Again, you're thinking of communism not democratic socialism. No one on Bernie's team is saying that we need to steal all the money from the wealthy. We just want them to pay a fair amount. I don't think you realize how little taxes rich people pay. Warren Buffet famously said he pays less in taxes every year than his house keeper does after all the tax breaks he gets and that was under Obama. It's even worse now.

>>this is more or less the opposite of how welfare costs actually work.

Both are true. Welfare can act as a temporary booster on the economy in a recession, but permanent welfare (aka. UBI), will reach a steady state where the amount of money you're handing out is irrelevant because the prices increase to meet the amount of cash on the market.

Assumption 2: International suppliers of stuff will either do the same, or be locked out of the market for stupid reasons.

Assumption 6: (implicit) Monetary policy will be completely ineffective at controlling inflation.

there are good reasons for that: because that line is immediately preceded by "However, the efficiency of PDVSA was brought into question over these years." implying that rather than PDVSA getting to keep-and-reinvest profits, their efficiency was in decline. Note that the figures are for income and not for profits, but more importantly because it basically doesn't matter since 90s venezuela was still a miserable shithole, which is kind of underscored what with the two coups, the president being impeached and going to jail and a fucking massive banking crisis.

>Then the government decided not to be retarded, their oil industry rebounded before getting completely gouged and gutted by Hugo Chavez

Except this also has little correlation to reality. Despite declining productivity and the insanity around the general strike in 2002, their oil industry was able to ride high in cash-terms on increasing oil prices. Conversely during the 1980s, when they could afford to give a higher proportion of their income to the state they were still in the doldrums because lol oil glut.

Venezuela oil production was socialized starting in 1971.
They were the richest nation in South America for decades.
Social programs were paid for using 10% of the oil money since 1999.

The rich, not wanting to pay taxes for poor people to have food and healthcare, tried to force Chavez out of office by shutting down essential services and locking out employees. They fired people on mass making the unemployment rate rise 5% in one year.

There was a military coup backed by the U.S. Saudi oil producers broke the OPEC agreement in partnership with America placing embargoes and tariffs on Venezuela and Russia making the price of oil drop by 50%.

As predicted, payroll and individual taxes went up 4% (105 Billion) while corporate taxes fell 30% (71 Billion).

Actual revenue rose 1% nationally while spending increased 7% creating a net -6% national loss in 11 months, something not seen since the great depression.

Trump's solution? He ordered the Fed to print money, hold on to it until the value of the money goes up then sell it at the higher price until the deficit goes away. #MAGA

Other than, "He's 3B and I don't like him!" you don't really come across as a person with a legitimate issue.

I know I'm an asshole. Everyone knows I'm an asshole. Everyone knows I have an over inflated ego but I try to control that. I've learned the lessons that you still need to work on, so let me help you.

First:
There is no contest. No one "rules the board" there is no king of the internet, we're all just people who share of a love of porn.

Why wait for the 11th hour though if it was substantiated, if you're Dianne Feinstein? Simple. If she introduced it 3 weeks ago, it wouldn't have the same impact of attempting to delay confirmation until after mid-terms where a potential blue wave can lead to enough voting power to stop confirmation.

Dianne Feinstein knows that all the evidence is at the level of circumstantial. That there's no rape kit. That there's just the account of some anonymous letter author to go off of and that in the scheme of innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, it would ammount to dick.

As such, he is not a rapist and will not be deemed a rapist, so wether or not Republicans would elect a rapist is irrelevent.

Now, someone like Bill Clinton? Sure, he'd still be championed and welcomed by democrats if a third term was possible. They sure as hell let him have a place of honor, and let him speak. At a minimum, maybe, just maybe, Republicans might sink to democratic levels.

Hillary taking an exert to paint a nasty picture is not much different from some rando trying to claim she was raped because of the fundemental truth that the rando and this nominie went to the same highschool together.

It's quite easy to build lies off of small truths. If Dianne Feinstein and the democrats had any moral fiber, they would have turned this rape accusation over for investigation immediately instead of saving it like a yogioh trap card.

It's the great "What If...?" questions like "What if Hitler had been accepted to art school?" that can change the course of history.
Hell, the run-up to World War I was full of these types of things, as covered here - https://youtu.be/S-wSL4WqUws
As a brief recap (and yes, all of these are real):
The assassination of Franz Ferdinand only happened because, after the initial attempts failed, Ferdinand's motorcade stalled out in front of the restaurant the only would-be assassin who hadn't gotten a chance was eating.
In a bid to avoid the superpowers going to war, Austria had inked a deal with the Russian ambassador to keep the latter nation out of it, and the diplomats decided to enjoy a drink before signing the agreement. During the drink, the Russian ambassador suffered a heart attack and died before finalizing the agreement.
After months of hemming and hawing (during which international support for Austria's war against Serbia was waning), Austria finally sent out their ultimatum, making demands that they knew couldn't be accepted. The Serbians managed to find a loophole, though - they accepted all terms except one (the one granting Austrian police carte blanche to investigate the assassination), but offered to go to the European Conference to settle the matter, further sapping the "need" for Austria to wage war against Serbia.
And the very night before war was declared, Tsar Nikolas II sent a telegram to Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, starting what would come to be known as the Willy-Nicky correspondence - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willy%E2%80%93Nicky_correspondence - because, as cousins, they'd grown up spending summers together.
And it nearly worked: Tsar Nikolas actually ordered his men to stand down. It was only at a meeting in the morning in which an aide du camp uttered a phrase that Nikolas, who had a reputation for being an ineffectual leader, couldn't abide.
"Majesty, we know how hard it must be for you to decide." While it was meant as a sympathetic gesture, it inadvertently hit Nikolas in a weak spot, and he changed his mind then and there. A month later, 1 million men were dead, and the empires of Europe all-but guaranteed their downfall, ushering in the rise of Fascism, Communism, and Democracy.

If nothing else you should want the investigation to happen so it would clear his name. Even if the appointment process continues, both sides should want the truth to come out.

If he's innocent he should be vindicated if he's guilty he should be prosecuted. That's how justice works.

The only reason you wouldn't want it investigated is if they know he's guilty and want to cover that up.

No.3522917

>>3522913
The problem with that is that in most cases you can't definitely prove 'not guilty'. You must depend on presumption of innocence, the prosecution failing to produce enough believable evidence of guilt, and you shooting down any false evidence.

And if instead of getting you in prison they want to drag your name through the dirt, they can draw this out and keep dragging your name through the dirt for years, producing one fake lead after another and you play whack-a-mole disproving them one after another. And the whole time the public hears these things and they ruin your reputation. Eventually you're cleared, to the chorus of rabid feminist reeeeing about releasing a rapist.

No. That is attributing mind reading powers to a drunken teenage girl at a party. How the fuck would she know if the man intended to rape her? She went to a party with 4 guys. Stuck around with 2 stumbling drunk guys. Went to a room with them. She was groped. (she did not complain about the kissing in the letter, mind you, so they were fooling around voluntarily in this situation UNTIL he got too handsy. )

Those are the only "Facts" we have by her own account, that she felt like she might be raped does not automatically make it a rape attempt.

Especially with something like 60 women and former girlfriends coming forward to say this sounds nothing like Kav's behavior profile.

>>3523013

Investigations do not occur spontaneously. The verbiage is literally to "launch an investigation" and that initial evidence is what determines if it is worth looking into. No blood, no semen, no collaborating witnesses and certainly no mind reading powers.

This, as you said, is just political theater. They want another Anita Hill. You can't just double back and say "Well, like this one aspect, that CAN'T be political theater too!"

Lastly, the lady said she didn't even consider it something she wished to come forward on. She gave DF the letter ages ago. DF contacted her and asked to use her problem as a political weapon. DF was told no, DF went ahead and used the allegation anyway, against the wishes of the alleged victim.

>>Yeah, pinning a girl to a bed, covering her mouth, turning up the music so people can't hear her struggle while you dry hump her and try to rip off her clothing, that's totally something you can misinterpret, right?

Allegedly. The notes that were taken show that her account doesn't stay straight each time she tells it, adding in new details and dropping others. She was in the midst of having a makeout with him quite obviously, it was when he tried to get his hand into her cloths that she went from consent, to no consent, and announced as such by yelling. I have loads of kids in my family, you know what the common response of all adults is when kids screech at the top of their lungs? We cover their mouth. It's not crazy to think that could be why her mouth got covered. The whole music turning up shit is one of those things added in later retellings.

All in all? I think she was embellishing the story with greater drama each time she told the story. When you're in marriage counseling for sexual problems, when for all the rest of your married life, you were boning just fine, being able to throw around a horror story is a good way to deflect from why you don't find your husband attractive lately.

On top of that, I've had trauma and I've had sex. Over 100 stitches in my teens when I had an accident. I only remember looking at the wounds. Not a whole fucking detailed story. I lost my virginity and thought I'd remember it forever. All I really remember is the exact smell of the massage lotion we had used. Memories don't work, or get stored, the way the lady tells them... Especially traumatic memories.

All you need to pass a lie detector test is be convinced you're telling the truth. I'm sure she believes that what she said happened, happened. It's how memory works. You can't remember something without re-encoding it, and the re-encoding process works to connect old data to new neurons. It's like running the same thing through a photocopier and copying the copy, into a thousand iterations. Our brains literally destroy data from remembering it. I'm sure I can find you articles on memory encoding if you demand it, but after that, I demand that you concede she might be misguided.

Something happened between bad kiss and sexual assault. That's the two extremes here. It's very likely they were both under the influence, having a make out, and then the prep-jock dickhead went a step too far (as often happens, triplebeta.)

Re-encode that enough times, and now every aspect of it was rough, aggressive and frightening. And then the whole thing becomes non-consensual retroactively.

So essentially, this is all about your emotions and you're trying to use other people's emotional responses instead of data, science or reality... I mean, you keep bringing up her age of 15. Yet the "Victim" herself can't say if it was the year 1983 or the year 1982 because she wasn't exactly sure if it was before or after her birthday.

She also can't recall which house, or the general neighborhood, or the month this took place.

The man who was supposedly in the room with her says that this didn't occur. The "Rescue" guy spent his whole life abusing legal and illegal drugs, and would be deemed an unreliable witness in nearly ANY court for the length of time given.

The FBI does not investigate crimes of this nature, they didn't even investigate hooker murders that were committed by democratic senators. ( And democrats are the party of "She was dead when I got here" hookers, not republicans. )

In the end, we can't even rely on her identifying her abuser accurately, because 70% of wrongful convictions come from identification.

Even if it was correct, all we know about as per the letter and her statements is that he groped her. Under the law, that's not sexual assault, that's sexual battery. The punishment for sexual battery at the level of groping does not generally cross into felony range, with the punishment for misdemeanor sexual battery being up to $1000 dollar fine and 2 years in prison for most states as the maximum. Regardless, given the length of time, even if he had actually done rape... this is beyond everything but civil charges. The statue of limitations has passed on rape, sexual assault, and sexual battery.

There is nothing to investigate for the FBI. There is nothing for the state to investigate. It's even something I'd call waste of time because it was two kids who'd fall inside the Romeo and Juliet laws, both highschool or one about to be highschool as well, who were making out at a party. Whoever the guy was, got too handsy, and she got out of there.

You, you motherfucker, are trying to paint that as the equivalent of Kennedy's dead hooker. Get fucked.

Speaking of which....

The Reich-wing extremist, Cody Wilson who was selling patterns to 3d print untraceable guns to fight "government oppression" had been awarded 40 thousand dollars in a settlement by the Trump administration after Obama had tried to shut down his website that encouraged people to make their own guns to fight the tyranny of the government.

What did he do when he got his settlement? He flew to the Taipei’s Wanhua District of Taiwan and paid a 16 year old girl $500 for sex. He's been arrested and awaits deportation back to America.

I guess the oppression he was talking about was his inability to legally bang underage girls?

You know why else she might not have come forward at the time? I can think of a few reasons.
1) There was alcohol being served at the party (both Kavanaugh and his friend were drunk, according to Ford), and her parents may have told her to leave if there was booze present. Since she disobeyed, part of her might have felt she "deserved" it, or simply wanted to not mention it for fear of getting punished.
2) She feared she wouldn't be believed. For example, my niece told me about how a boy in her High School had attempted to overpower her while in the weight room there. She used self-defense tactics my brother and I had taught her to get out of the situation, but to my knowledge, I'm the only one she told, as my brother was working with the track team at the time and was on good terms with the kid. She didn't want to tell him because she feared that either he wouldn't believe her, or that he might severely overreact against the assailant.

And as further evidence of the second, just look up some of the "#WhyIDidn'tComeForward" posts on that one. Or how about this article detailing accusations made by Minnesota Rep. Jim Knoblach's daughter that he'd molested her between the ages of 9 and 21 - https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/minnesota-rep-jim-knoblach-ends-campaign-amid-daughter-s-allegations-n912201

Knoblach's 23-year-old daughter, Laura, told MPR that he inappropriately touched her for most of her life, with her first memories starting when she was 9 years old and continuing until she was 21. She said the activity included kissing, licking and biting her ears. She said she confided in close friends, family and authority figures at her school and church about his actions for more than a decade.
...
The St. Cloud Police Department and Sherburne County sheriff's office began an investigation last year but declined to file charges. After exhausting other means to hold her father accountable, Laura Knoblach made the allegations to MPR on the record and supplied extensive documentation about her attempts to get help. The documentation included a letter from the Sherburne County attorney's office saying there was "insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Jim Knoblach had committed a crime."

Women can come forward and being lying, or embellishing. Duke university almost ruined an entire team of boy's lives in a fake gang rape story. They only got saved by the fact that their accuser made the accusation for times and dates when the boys had receipts and gas station video evidence to show that they were not... you know, spending that time gang raping a girl.

Mattress girl? Utterly fucked up her ex-boyfriend's life. Text messages show that she's a lying piece of shit. To this day she still carries on her art project and slanders him. She should be in jail.

Reporters and professors egged on both these examples, specifically coaching the accusations. Even after it was found these things were false, feminist liberal websites rushed to the defense to say it's still important because it opens a conversation about the seriousness of campus rape so the girls should be given a break and not jailed for false reporting.

MOVING ON TO YOUR CLAIMS THO.

Her yearbook from 1983 shows her with a booze in her hand, multiple booze bottles on her kitchen island, and people holding disposable alcohol cups. Her and three of her friends were queen bees at school, part of yearbook club, and the yearbook included their personal stories of their partying antics... including Ford in a playboy brand swimsuit. They also openly talk about having hired male strippers and needing to descummifcate the pool after the party. (with the cummificate part in bold text as an in-joke.)

1.) She wasn't an over protected daddy's little angel. She was a willful WASP debutante.

2.) She just didn't happen to be in the wrong place, wrong time. She was a party hound and got the yearbook taken down. It is now the only archived yearbook for that school that 404s.

Don't you even see how much assuming you're doing to turn her into a sheltered doe like 3B is? You're giving her all the favorable assumptions, and assuming the worst of who she accused. That's not equal justice man.

>Women lying...

So your theory is that she went to a party at 15. Nothing happened. She developed an evil plan to ruin Kavanaugh's life, isolated herself from all her friends, developed a fake troubled home life, dedicated her life to the study of psychological trauma and how to address it.

Then during college she used... witchcraft I guess.. to force him to join the Tits and Clit club at a fraternity renown for sexually assaulting women and stealing their panties.

Then as soon as she became an adult moved 3000 miles away from every one she's ever known, paid thousands of dollars to go to therapists for years, married a guy, faked marriage problems resulting from the trauma, went to a marriage councilor with him.

Meanwhile, from across the nation she used her magic vagina powers to mind controlled Kavanaugh's friend into writing books about how he and his friend did unspeakable things while in college together.

Also meanwhile, Yale law professor Amy Chua was telling female law students if they wanted to work for Kavanagh they needed to look like models and exude "femininity" another professor got in trouble for telling them that if they wanted to work for Kavanaugh they needed a "certain look" and telling some women not to get their hopes up.

Today she's still using her magic vag to make people come forward and verify those stories about the coaching of exactly how you should look and act to get a job in Kavanaugh's court.

Truly, this woman needs to be our president for she is the most powerful, intelligent being on the face of the earth.

The opposition believes that this man is as clean as they come. He's responded to more written questions than any other SCOTUS. Shared more personal documents than any other SCOTUS. Been backround checked more than any other SCOTUS save one. And he has dealt with a lot of shitty out of order attempts and bogus motions to slow down and stall out his nomination process. Because a great deal of this is true, it is easy to believe the opposition when they say this is just obstruction.

If the mid-terms is the supposed dividing line, or time limit, that is limiting an investigation... Then we could obliterate the idea of it being a stalling tactic by simply having a deferred nomination.

As of such a motion, he would be on the SCOTUS, but suspended from finalizing his seat, until an independent investigation on the matters at hand is completed, where he would take his seat on the SCOTUS.

If they found 30 dead babies in his basement, the same thing that would happen to him that would any other SCOTUS. He'd go to jail. Being on the SCOTUS does not put you above the law.

>The claim is that this guy, if investigated, would be found guilty of sexual assault. At least, liable in a civil sense at bare minimum. (from the left.)

No, that's next to impossible. That's not at all what we are asking for. The job of the FBI is to investigate and bring to light any possible things which would make the judge unfit for the life time appointment. At this point I think if he was choking infants to death with his cock the GOP wouldn't care but if the investigation shows him being a terrible, horrible person when the Democrats regain control they can impeach him even if the Republicans force him through now. But if there is no investigation it makes impeachment even more difficult.

Having him not approved in the first place is the best scenario for... well... human decency in general but Democrats specifically. That is why the Democrats are digging up people from his past.

The woman he tried to dick slap didn't come forward, the democrats hunted her down because they had heard the rumor about the events in college.

They want to stop him now before it becomes an even bigger nightmare.

Honestly, if the GOP had a brain between them they would have aborted Kavanaugh and just picked someone else. The polls are showing them dropping across the board more every day. This appointment is an albatross around their necks and if they just let it go until after the mid-terms you know the Democrats would pick someone just as corporate and corrupt as Kavanaugh anyway. It's not like the parties are that different but they are going to lose everything for this one SCOTUS seat if they keep this up.

Only for the same damned manufactured bullshit to manifest itself yet again regardless of who was picked.

This.

Right now we're at "No evidence is fine" if this stops the man. That's not a good place to be. You might as well just say men can't run for office.

Polls are bullshit and over sample democrats. Trump's electoral win pretty much proves that pollsters are full of crap.

You know who was never accused of sexual harassment?
Merrick Garland. He was a man. He would be on the court right now if the Republicans hadn't stalled for over a year so you know what, cry me a river about it. I don't care.

Everything about Kavanaugh screams "I did it and I would do it again if I thought I could get away with it."

Just today in an interview he said that he was a virgin until way after college as if somehow not being able to get laid makes him LESS likely to be attempting to rape women not more?
