Well ... It is official I am moving out of my parents into a furry a house.

These are Furries I've known for awhile & this has been a long time coming. I do not believe it is fitting for grown ass adults to live with their parents indefinitely. This is a move that was carefully planned not made in haste and the loose ends secured, so I'm pretty sure it'll work out this time.

Merlino's not really that bad, is he? The furry fandom got a lot of bad press from the outside world simply for being so... deviant from the norm, even though it was laughably tame by today's standards. Furries are just looking for a single scapegoat to blame for all the negative attention, but I think Merlino's responsibility was greatly exaggerated - then again, I wasn't there at the time.

How does the Brony fandom contain less degeneracy than furries ever did? The difference between them is that bronies actually have a positive morale and opinion of themselves, due to being largely accepted rather than hated on; since it all started out with /b/ posters forcing themselves on every corner of the internet until people were forced to acknowledge them.

Sure, the Prancing Skiltaire's a little wierd given they've been in the fandom for so long, but then Merlino was a pioneering figure, and none of us are getting any younger. When and how do you guys plan on leaving the fandom, anyway?

Ah... I've gone off-topic again, haven't I...

>The furry fandom got a lot of bad press from the outside world simply for being so... deviant from the norm, even though it was laughably tame by today's standards.

The furry fandom got a lot of bad press because it became filled with ugly perverts like Merlino who couldn't keep it in their pants in public.

You weren't there at the time, so you don't know about the "otherkin", the "lifestylers", furry as a pseudo-religion, the hateboners people had for "hyoomans", the perpetual persecution complex, the intersection with the BDSM crowd, people walking around with dog collars... it wasn't just a bit of deviants doing their thing, but a whole shitshow of creeps and weirdoes who thought they finally found their break where all the rules of society go hang.

Revenge of the nerds. Replace "nerds" with Johnny the compulsive streaker, or 3B and Aufy combined.

>>3514006 This time... yes ... I've tried this kind of thing before but I didn't plan it out very well. This time I've covered my bases. I do love my family & they treat me well, but I seem to have this almost instinctual urge to get away from them all, at all costs.

The last time I did this, it was last year, I hauled ass to the Colombus GA/Phenix AL area to get a job there. I lived in an abandoned house. My plan was to find work, then get a place of my own, then contact Chris Thrash (only after establishing myself as a competent adult of course) and stort'a start a life for myself there. Chris Thrash owned a showbiz pizza location in the area, has a fully functional Rock'a'Fire display in his backyard and knows a lot about managing a restaurant and taking care of animatronics. He's the kind of guy who's still a kid inside but is also a very capable and mature adult. He's kind'a my hero. There was another abandoned house built identically to the other house who were my friends. They would fight a lot but they weren't on drugs or anything, but like me loved thier folks but couldn't stand living with them and were trying to wing it.

The time before that... I was living at my dads house. He's super liberal and extended his since of charity so much that it ended up becoming a hang out for drug addicts. I'm not into drugs or the drama that surrounds them and it was all drama all day every day & I got fed up & took off to the Richmond Virginia area where my friend Rodney lived, another furry. No plan, just go'n on an adventure. I stayed the night at his house the first night. I faked a mental episode because I knew I'd be taken in & would have the opportunity to make plans from there. My plan worked. I met another Furry while in the local hospitals psych ward. She had a fursona but wasn't an active participant in the Fandom, a wickan and very laid back chill kinna lady. She didn't like house work and said I could live with her so long as I kept the place in order. While there I went to the Local Furmeets, went to church, got on food stamps, volunteered at a local food bank, made a modest income selling plasma, even took care of a cripple guy for awhile. These were actually very happy days for me. I was there for almost a year.

However after I managed to get electricity hooked to the house, the lady I lived with... I dunno I guess she had gotten so used to living without it that she grown to prefer the simplicity of not having it and smashed the junction box on the house.

Now he'd never admit it, because he's a sweet heart, but my presence had caused some disruption in Rodney's life & my lady friend had made it clear she didn't want electricity. /furi/ advised I go back to Georgia & since the advice seemed to be coming from a place of love I followed suit.

Before that I had done something similar in Colombus Ohio. But that did not pan well at all. The 2 times I went to Hurricane Utah were merely research expeditions. I had not planned to stay as a permanent resident I was there to collect data.
But this time I'm coming upon request, not simply on my own accord. Also there are several job vacancies available, and I'll have a month rent to put down ahead of time. So shelter, work, and first months rent are pretty much covered.

No.3514213

A single month of rent is a low margin for error. Stress is a killer of many worthy endeavors.

Hah. The fundamental difference between the right and the leftt If the left creates something good (happens occasionally), the right goes "Oh, nice. I like it. Keep it up."
Whenever the right creates something good, the left will shun and hate it, claiming it's '-ist, evil, and should be destroyed.

Most funny when the right picks up a decent idea the left has abandoned, say, failing to bring it to fruition. Doing exactly the same thing the left was doing a year ago or two ago is suddenly EVIL!!!

The #WalkAway trend is mostly right nuts pretending to be liberals who have left the dems.

It was started by a broke, gay hair dresser who took a job from Alex Jones' organization. You know it's totally legit when it's funded and produced by Alex Jones and Infowars...

Stopping child trafficking by separating them from potential traffickers until they could be determined to be actual parents. A logical expansion of the program and a big failure of the dems who managed to lose a bunch of children given away to illegals for adoption - with high likelihood of them getting handed directly to traffickers.

'#WalkAway' movement renouncing liberalism marches through nation's capital.
The #WalkAway movement was started by a man named Brandon Straka, whose video renouncing liberalism went viral earlier this year.
In the video, Straka says that the Democratic party has become "intolerant," "hateful," and "ill-informed." Straka's campaign involves others sharing their videos online about leaving the Democratic party in favor of the right. Almost 100,000 people now follow the #WalkAway Campaign on Facebook from across the country.

Lol "gratitude".

Nothing in the world is made without labor. Every single item that you see was created by a worker at some point. Which means that the workers are the only ones who create any material wealth, from the computer you're using to the cash in your pocket to the clothes on your back.

The owners exist to extract value from the wealth that workers create. That means they do no work, and then earn money by claiming that they are owed a portion of the wealth generated by the workers. In other words every single dime in the owner's pocket is stolen wealth extracted from the workers.

And you smugly proclaim that we should be "grateful" for the crumbs that the owner class gives us. Pathetic. Cuckoldry, as Marx would call it. Every worker is owed the full value of their labor, not whatever the owners deign to part with. Not only should we not be grateful, we should be furious at the fat pigs and their collaborators who rob us and then tell us to be grateful that they didn't rob us even more.

right, so issuing new debt, which requires more money than exists is bad, because people can't pay it off, which is unfair. (money doesn't work that way but let's roll with this.)
however

>Which is more likely the culprit here? Trading labor for pay, with the option to seek higher pay elsewhere..

that option doesn't generally apply, because we do not have full employment. there are more workers unemployed than there are job positions unfilled, so workers are competing for employment and not vice-versa. this, surely, is equally unfair? workers cannot seek higher pay elsewhere, because business owners have no incentive to bid-up pay when labour isn't scarce. instead of a free choice between work and leisure, workers instead have a compelled choice between labour and poverty, even starvation.

>The left doesn't claim the right is evil because the right seeks power, they claim the right is evil because of what they do with that power...

Fucking this!

The right NEVER LEARNS. They try the same stupid, failure, policies over and over and over and they keep telling themselves "This time it'll work!!" but it NEVER DOES.

100% chance that America is in an economic depression by 2025 because that's ALWAYS what happens when republicans control goverment. They spend-spend-spend on military to make themselves rich and give themselves tax cuts to stay rich, they explode the deficit then are surprised when, just like every other time they did it, the job growth doesn't happen, the economy surges then collapses and the American workers are left screwed while the rich just move assets to other nations.

It ALWAYS happens and what's worse, Republicans KNOW their leaders are lying to them and they just don't fucking care. They have abandoned reality all together.

Like Trump just this week promised a 10% tax cut "for the middle" and when the reporter asked him how he was going to do it he said he would do it through congress. The reporter informed him that congress was not in session until after the mid-term and asked if he was going to use an executive order. He said again that he was going to do it through congress. The reporter AGAIN explained to the FUCKING MORON that congress was not in session and he just kept on insisting it was going to happen.

He even went on to talk about it happening, "Next week" at one of his rally's because he knows all he has to do is say it enough times and the retards on the right will believe it. They'll celebrate it! It'll never actually happen but that doesn't matter because they don't live in reality.

These people are like retarded children and we are suppose to treat them like they are functional adults.

Fuck that shit. That's the "political correctness" that will ruin America. Conservatives are morons and we should treat them like it.

Minimum wages destroy the labor market because they destroy the price signal that would normally tell people to seek jobs elsewhere. They cause the society to mis-allocate resources because too many people are trying to work where there's not enough demand for their work, they choose their education (or lack of), their place of residence etc. according to the wages that they see, and when the wages are fixed by the socialists to be higher than what the market would otherwise pay, the result is structural unemployment.

Dude, save your fingers. You're arguing with 3B. He's too stupid to understand any of it. He's the living example of the NPC meme.

Actively denying the reality whenever it doesn't fit the narrative, even contradicting himself by presenting two conflicting 'alternate realities' if one supports one of his points but contradicts the other and vice versa.

He's JUST switched from 'there are no jobs, boo, orange man bad!' to 'nobody wants the plentiful low-pay jobs, boo, orange man bad!'.

Arguing requires your opponent to hold a set of opinions that has at least superficial internal coherence. You won't find that with 3B.

the impact of increases from 5.15 > 5.85, and 5.85 > 6.55 on the total unemployment rates hown in that image are laughably marginal though, to the point of being nothing, and while there's a bigger spike lagging after the move to 7.25, the earlier lack-of-change is all the more interesting considering we had a massive fucking recession 2007-8.
your surprisingly narrow, outdated, short-period data set doesn't even say what you want it to say.

You act as if that isn't exactly what the left wants. We win either way.

Either we drag the democrats left and take over by winning elections or they keep pushing right and they collapse. Then the two party system will be Republicans vs Berniecrats.

They can get behind us or they can fail and we'll replace them. We are not here to help them. We are here to replace them and they know it.

>Tell us more about how you're looking forward to violence if your party loses.

You are mistaking Reich-wing mob tactics for political violence. For political violence to work it must be targeted at specific, influential people. The people with power.

The Trumpites will burn down their own city in protest when he loses in 2020 or when he leaves office.

The proper way is targeted, limited, violence against the people who matter, not the people who have no actual power to change things outside of a vote.

That's why the left wins. We avoid violence until it's necessary and when it becomes necessary we don't just use it on anyone we see.

Violence is like a currency. The more you print of it, the less value it has.

Look at that school shooting in North Carolina on Monday. Two kids got into a fight in the hall, one of them won then started to walk away then the other shot him in the back. He was murdered in front of a crowd of people and the school didn't even suspend classes. Once the police were gone they just went back to business as usual.

The Reich has used violence so much that it has become passé. But when people start targeting powerful people instead of children, then it's going to be news.

Republicans already caught cheating in the Texas election for Ted Cruz. If you click the button for "Democrat" it includes all the other democrats and Ted Cruz instead of Beto.

They must be so afraid.

Hey lying Three Bee, you forgot to include a picture of the suspect in that N.C. school shooting, just an innocent oversight I'm sure, so here he is, first name is JATWAN, isn't that ADORABLE!
As for the Texas voting machines switching votes, it's confirmed that people were not waiting 5 seconds for the screen to refresh before they tried to vote, causing the wrong selection to be chosen. Far more were accidentally coming up democrat than republican.
Do you even KNOW how NOT to lie?
Do you even know HOW?

>People wern't waiting long enough...

The computer is rigged to switch votes for Cruz.

The funny thing is they aren't even denying it. The state election board said to the media that it's a known problem with Texas' older voting system which is why they are removing the option to vote straight ticket in 2020.

They knew from previous elections that if a voter doesn't catch the mistake it will default to voting for the first entry in the race. They put Cruz first on the ticket, in the first entry, because they knew that's who "the error" would favor.

Refusing to fix a glitch then exploiting it is still cheating.

Not to be confused with the 2012 app game 'the room'.. which is actually a really good 'escape the room' game. It's only like $1 and there's no micro-transaction bullshit. There's 3 sequels and they're all pretty good (although a bit more expensive since they're newer).
