>be scared and give them things because they were misinformed and riled up

They'll get what's coming to them.

>It's kinda the whole reason they keep flooding over here

Nope, entirely the fault of Americans flooding their country with misplaced handguns and making the drug trade profitable.

>entirely the fault of Americans flooding their country with misplaced handguns and making the drug trade profitable.

Oh come, you know that's not true.

Some of it has to do with CIA ops destabilizing their governments for half a century.

>>3513297 Does the election even matter? I thought Mexico was pretty much run by the drug cartels. Weren't half the government candidates killed by them?

>And in the most prosperous, happy, healthy, well educated nations on earth

You forgot to add "In my imagination".

Learn the difference between socialism and social democracy.

>Social democracy is a political, social and economic ideology that supports economic and social interventions to promote social justice within the framework of a liberal democratic polity and capitalist economy... is often associated with the set of socioeconomic policies that became prominent in Northern and Western Europe—particularly the Nordic model

Note: liberal democratic polity means classical liberalism in this case. Contrast this to socialism:

>Socialism is a range of economic and social systems characterised by social ownership and democratic control of the means of production[10] as well as the political theories and movements associated with them.[11] Social ownership may refer to forms of public, collective or cooperative ownership, or to citizen ownership of equity.

All the well-to-do countries are running capitalism. All the humanitarian shitholes, dictatorships and oligarchies, are running socialism - except for Russia, but that's always been a shithole regardless of who runs the show.

Besides, the happy welfare states are running themselves to the ground while the lefties cry crocodile tears for the poor to keep themselves in power.

Sweden, the model country for welfare capitalism, actually became rich selling ball bearings to Hitler and profiteering off WW2, and then started a long slow slide downhill with all sorts of socialists and soc-dem parties trying to "cut the cake" for everyone (themselves).

Here's another chart to illustrate the reasons: the big climbers out of WW2 all had small governments, which became big governments and stunted the economic growth. Sweden turned to decline in the 60's, US continued on for a little bit longer.

And, because of all this, Sweden is now turning away from socialism and is actually more economically liberal (in the classical sense) than the US. For example, no universal minimum wages.

To explain it further; the problem with things like minimum wages has to do with the role of unions in a liberal democracy. Unions are a tool of democracy, and as an essential feature of democracy is the freedom of association which means you have to have the option to NOT belong to a union. You have to be able to say "no, these people don't represent my interest so I won't join". Sometimes you have to side with the employees, sometimes with the employers, to get a balanced and fluid compromize that responds to the market reality rather than some political fantasy.

State/federal minimum wages are essentially like mandatory union membership, where the government is the union and negotiates your wages and other terms for you whether you want it or not, whether it's in your best interest or not. So, as the government jacks up the minimum wages, you get inflation and unemployment due to a rigid unresponsive system and you get no say in it because you can't vote with your feet and say "I'm out of here".

Then how do you fix the rampant poor and homelessness?

Name one country that wasn't fucked up by socialism.

My mom came from a country that was ruined by socialism

>Name one country that wasn't fucked up by socialism

The Soviet Union, China, Cuba, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Nicaragua, Chile, ...

>The Soviet Union

Are you joking? Post-soviet Russia was a trainwreck and it's not really better now.

Ironically, they didn't flourish until they abandoned Maoism for that weird disgusting bastard child of authoritarian single-party socialism and capitalism.

Yeah, great when you have a hospital in every town but no medicine or doctors.

Yeah, right. Don't mind all those wars that turned the Balkans into a third-world shit hole.

Remember that time when people were so pissed at the commies that they threw them out of helicopters?

>Trump = dumb

Everyone he defeated was his lesser.

>Mexico needs the US military to help them

"Helping" them postpones recovery.

>The majority of Russians polled in a 2016 study said they would prefer living under the old Soviet Union and would like to see the socialist system and the Soviet state restored.

>He had help

Did someone make him an illegal sandwich?

>insults, racism, insinuations

Meaningless, baseless.

Prove it. Prove anything.

For your good deed of the day putting me in my place you should go out and treat yourself to a soy latte. :3

>implying global dominance, destabilization and blatant power grabs of the USA on the entire latin america isnt one of the main reasons they are still "shit holes".
>In USA's eyes, as soon you turn a little to the left than their most extreme right capitalism asskisser.. the USA interests start to sabotage your country, block you economically, insert problems like narcs (by arming them) or bribe politicians into power. Even to the point of inserting full blown murder psychopaths that makes Kim look bland in comparison.

Pretty sure Cuba would be doing fine right now if it wasnt for the blatant economic block and embargo by the USA interests..again. This is pure ego because its one of the few nations that the USA could not subjugate by military or sabotage.
