But yeah... I appreciate you trying to challenge me. You act like a "gimpy gump" all the time.

Remember what Forrest Gump said: stupid is as stupid does. If you don't want to be taken for an autistic twat, stop behaving like one. There's a few simple rules on how to do that:

  1. If you ain't got nothing to say, don't say it.

The fact that you don't recognize scitzophrenic delusions as obvious nonsense, and instead try to "explain" it, is a very good indication that you have the same sort of delusions yourself.

If the fool knows they're a fool, they're that much wise, but the fool that doesn't know they're a fool is a fool indeed. They're getting away with it because too many people in Europe don't want be seen as "racist" so they pretty much let them do whatever they want and it's madness.

Black people practically invented rock'n'roll. A lot of them are great artists, scientists, historians, performers, and athletes. While there's a lot of ignorance and poverty in the black community, the same could be said of white people. The "n" in word is just as offense as being called a cracker. True, but you can logically prove that if there is a God then he/she/it does nothing useful. Every event unfolds according to the laws of physics. If there is a God they do nothing to influence the world in any way.

Children starve, people burn alive because of electrical shorts, car crashes happen every day and God does nothing to stop it. If God exists he/she/it is either powerless, or indifferent to the suffering of humanity. Even if there is a God, there is no reason to respect or venerate it.

First link: "The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer" - bullshit argument: argument of ignorance. " The universe had a start - what caused it?" - infinite regress fallacy: what caused God? "The universe operates by uniform laws of nature. Why does it?" - bullshit argument: begging the question. "The DNA code informs, programs a cell's behavior." - bullshit argument: appeal to incredulity. "We know God exists because he pursues us." - bullshit argument: appeal to belief. "Unlike any other revelation of God, Jesus Christ is the clearest, most specific picture of God revealing himself to us." - bullshit argument: appeal to dogma.

Second link: 4. "There are other worlds and rational beings of a different and higher kind." - bullshit argument: there is only one reality and we're living it. Whatever parts we don't presently see of it isn't any less part of the one reality and can't be counted as "different worlds". Anything that is real can be discovered because it makes some difference in reality and is in interaction with reality, therefore no "supernatural" can exist. Basically an argument of ignorance.

Third link: too general. No comment possible.

Fourth link: Aristotle's model of physics is flawed. Aristotle's God cannot include anything that isn't God, so you're God as well - no point in praying to yourself. Kalam cosmological argument: "Whatever begins to exist has a cause" - another version of infinite regress fallacy: what caused God? "for there to be any things in the world made up of more than one thing, there must sometime have been a first combiner" - fallacy of division - the Hindu point of view actually argues that everything is God, so why pray for God when you are it? Ontological proof of God: self-defeating: a deed is the more impressive the greater the handicap against it, so therefore the most perfect God is one that creates the world without actually existing, therefore God does not exist. "intelligent design theory": relies on the concept of irreducible complexity: concept is bullshit. "Why is God so shy?" - asks questions, doesn't answer any, isn't actually a proof. "Or is God really a demon?" - fails the occam's razor: don't assume evil where incompetence (or inexistence) suffices: the evil in the world isn't God's fault, but simply God's absence. "A proof for the heart" - bullshit argument: appeal to emotion: God must exist because it would be very nice. "Good, not God" - the good (god) exists is a nonsensical statement because "good" is subjective. Hegel's argument: " through the creation the creator through comes to know itself" - assumes the event of creation, or first cause, another infinite regress argument: what created God?

Fifth link. Anthropic principle argument: things are too perfect to be out of chance: fallacy of no alternatives or puddle thinking: things seem too perfect because you can't thing of any other way things could be. If the universe was different, other sort of thinking observer might appear according to other physics and think they're too perfect to exist by chance just the same.

Sixth link: "Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ left us the Bible. Not only does it include the message of Christianity, but it provides us with the proof" - bullshit argument: appeal to dogma.

That's just the rapid fire version of debunking the bullshit. In short: all those "proofs" of God hinge on some sort of misunderstanding, nonsense, or faulty or incomplete logic.

Just because a question is too complex or difficult for you to answer, or because you aren't smart or clever enough to develop a new paradigm beyond the simple tool of reductionism so that you can find an answer, doesn't invalidate the question. And neither does your insecurity over the implications of your inability to answer the question invalidate the question.

>They try to claim there is no God, NOTHING, and you can't prove a negative.

The atheist assumes the validity of the concept of God, so they are indeed wrong: there isn't god, and no not-god, because nobody's sufficiently told anyone what "god" means.

Can you tell whether there is a "Grondx"? No you can't, because I haven't told you what it means and how you can rationally evaluate if it is. Therefore, answering "yes" or "no" are both wrong. You can't know, and you don't even know you can't know, so you're completely without answers. The question itself is meaningless.

So, theist, atheist, agnostic - all wrong. All saying nothing at all. However much you want to argue the point, you have no point.

>Just because a question is too complex or difficult for you to answer, or because you aren't smart or clever enough to develop a new paradigm beyond the simple tool of reductionism so that you can find an answer, doesn't invalidate the question

You didn't understand the point. There is always a very simple answer and a possibility to the question: shit just happens. If you want a finer term to it, it's called "superdeterminism".

Any "law" we may observe isn't necessarily because it has to happen like that, but because it just does. If you posit that something always happens because of something else, then you're again at the infinite regress, hunting for the basic cause that itself must have an even more basic cause. Well, what is it? Anything you answer must still have a cause, so you're at an impasse.

No.3483770

>>3483766
To be more precise:

  1. begging the question that the universe does operate by uniform laws of nature. All we know is that it seems to, but that assumption breaks down the moment we contemplate where the universe comes form, which violates all the assumptions of conservation of energy etc.
  2. begging the question that the only answer to the reason to the uniformity of laws of nature can be "God".

So, what do you propose as an alternative to this "reductionism"?

No.3483774

>>3483770
To expand on that point:

The concept of a law of nature falls on continuity. If the whole reality is truly a one-shot event that is created and ends, then there are no laws of nature: everything is arbitrary.

If every chicken is born off an egg, and every egg becomes a chicken, then there must be endless chicken and endless eggs to the past and the future - no start and no beginning. For there to be a law of nature in the proper sense of the word, there cannot be a creation, and therefore no creator.

So the argument that the uniformity of the laws we observe requires a creator is self-defeating: in order for there to be true laws of nature that follow strict cause and effect, there must be no creation and no creator.

I'm not dodging anything. You're just stopping thinking on the spot where the infinite chain of 'why' questions results in the answer you want, and refuse to go no further.

There is no actual answer to the question why. The only thing you can really answer is 'how' - to explain and describe what happens. Why it happens cannot be explained, because even saying "God did it" still begs an answer to the question "why God did it?" and failing to answer that question, you haven't actually explained anything.

....and? So what if you get even more questions after your original question? That's why we still need science. You're right, I could ask a bunch of followup questions. Why does the sun emit visible light? Why do molecules scatter light? Why do humans have eyes capable of seeing visible light? But I guess you're right, it's better to just shrug our shoulders and go "the sky is blue because shit happens" and then never ask those follow up questions.

>Why it happens cannot be explained, because even saying "God did it"...

Stop it, stop presuming the answer to the question (an answer you personally don't like for whatever reasons) and then trying to negate the question because you don't like the unfounded answer you just presumed. You going "the sky is blue because shit happens" is just the atheist equivalent to a medieval priest going "the sky is blue because God wills it so". It's an intellectually lazy non-answer.

You might do well to check what the comment was about: someone else was forcing that answer to the question, and I was simply pointing out that asking "why" endlessly cannot prove God.

That's exactly the point. Someone was trying to prove God by asking:

>"The universe operates by uniform laws of nature. Why does it?"

They were suggesting that asking the ultimate "why" would automatically point to a creator, but they forgot that it doesn't answer the question because there isn't an ultimate 'why' - it's just kicking the can down the road further and further without any end.
