Supplies:
-Distilled water (I don't know how necessary this is vs tap water)
-Folex
-Spray bottle
-White hand towels (important because free of dyes that could be released while cleaning, and buy a big pack as you'll go through them)
-Tooth brush
Steps
-Mix 1 part folex, 3-4 parts distilled water in a spray bottle
-Spray a towel with the solution, but not to the point where the towel is soaked.
-Lightly scrub minky with the towel, both with and against the fabric pile, while making sure you don't get the minky so wet that the stuffing inside could be wet too
-Suck the solution with the rugdoctor
-Repeat prior three steps as needed, kinda depends on the condition of the plush, scrubbing with the toothbrush could help
-Get another towel and lightly damp it with distilled water only
-Working the same area will serve as a "rinse" with this towel, again be mindful of not getting the stuffing wet
-Suck the distilled water up
-Repeat if needed
-Brush the pile of the minky so it lays in the direction it would naturally, wouldn't hurt to do the same thing while sucking with the rugdoctor
-Do all these steps in order in one small area, like one leg or even one side of a leg, as it takes some time to clean a big plush, and things may dry if you tried to do the whole plush at once
-Doesn't hurt to swap out towels for new, both the solution towel and rinse towel
-Make sure your plush is dry, perhaps having a fan around could help, but just don't get the stuffing wet to begin with
That should be it. I've done this once on two plushes and both came out feeling close to new. One plush was about two years old at the time, but was in okay condition having not received much contact. Anyways who is making your plush? Which pone?
