Does this include the newer PawsX boards and those older, archived boards? I would be very interested in this depending when this rip was born.

Well fuuuuck, that is a mis-leading URL then...

I assumed someone ripped the site in late 2015, when ALL the writing was on the wall that it was sinking, and wouldn't be around for much longer. I saved as much as I wanted/could from the newer PawsX boards, but I never got around to those older archived boards. Those were the ones that were sticked atop each new PawsX board, linking back to an archive of the previous board. There was alot of good stuff in there that sat idle for years that people eventually forgot about.

I can only assume there was some large scale trouble back then in 2011 that resulted in the newer boards. I...was using the board at the time but have no memory now as to what happened. Those Internet days are hazy at best. Good thing someone made this rip back then, I could possibly find all the stuff in the older boards that I didn't have time to grab before.

Before Pawsx was created after Paws.ru.org, the server was taken down because of spammers(Pawsx was created later because server host never made a backup of original paws.ru, I had old paws archives but were sadly lost to a failed older 2TB harddrive, this is all I have.

Those are the files/rars I saved and made. I originally posted them here: >>3364493

I was up all night, for a few nights, working against the clock getting as much stuff as I could, because I knew the site was doomed. But I still kick myself for not getting to those older, archived boards in time: >>3455595

From what I recall, I was burned out from the time spent saving PawsX boards, and it had occurred to me that I better get my ass moving on the archives...but as all that content stood before me, it was a daunting task. I knew how long it would have taken me, and at that point I needed a break to catch up on other things (online & IRL). I hoped the site would have held on a bit longer, but it didn't. That is why I would really appreciate if this torrent would get picked up again. I could comb through what I missed: >>3455250

How badly did the old 2 TB fail? Like, just a bad sector or something, or complete death?

From my experience, every HD that I've had "die" I could generally get working again somewhat through an external docking bay. I take it that route's been attempted?

I've had two HDs fail after running hot for a month because the fans failed, and in both cases the motor bearings seized up entirely. They were two different brands, Seagate and Samsung, of different ages, and they failed within about two days of each other some weeks after the overheating event.

Both just started whistling loudly and then ping.
