I'm disappointed that I didn't get the time to finish this today but I feel like I had a couple breakthroughs with digital shading that will save me a ton of time in the future. Hopefully I'll get the time to finish this by this weekend, feels like I've been learning a lot lately and I want to keep that ball rolling.

Also debating whether I want to do the whole transparent disembodied dick thing so I can shade and detail dat gape or if I want to draw something getting up in there (maybe a deoxy tentacle?)

Okay, the image highlights the biggest problems, the rest are small. Like the posture (too straight, too rigid, not relaxed at all). To improve the posture, just practice, learn anatomy, life drawing, understand weight and material, bla bla professional sounding art major jargon bla.

You are mostly good. Your anatomy is mostly good, your idea is greater than your execution. Be glad your imagination is as evolved as it is. The face is great also.

Yes, I know the right wing-hand-thingy is not great, but I'll fix it later. Tried to be as on-model as possible, but the wing/hand thing is something that exists in her universe, so I couldn't not keep it. Will make the head smaller also.

For this pic, I worked on a a couple ongoing layers and flattened it as I went. The only real weird thing I pulled was hitting the preserve opacity button and air brushing a cool red to warm yellow gradient where the glow emanates from, and then erasing that gradient here and there to focus the effect. I water colour tool'd the gradient to mix it and touched up some of the edges with the paint brush tool. Not sure if that makes sense, but it's the best I can explain the process.

You signed up to draw 1 RANDOM picture per work day for a whole year + 2 weeks vacation. It's not going to give you anything but a headache, because you literally signed up to do a job...

Whats did they promise you at the end of all this?

I think these are quick 5 to 20 minute sketches, not complete full-fledged artworks. So they’re more like daily exercises or practices.

But yeah, it still is a lot.

I had one whole week to make them and you were expected to draw them for 5-10 minutes a piece. A lot of girls in my class had pages and pages of scribbles because they quite literally finished the project the day before critique. Thankfully portfolio review exists to weed out the lazy ones for entering upper division.

her body is very stiff. Try following her spine into more of an S-curve

her right leg is huge compared to her left. Check the length of he thigh from where the hip join would join her pelvis (not shown in the sketch.

idk what she's doing with those arms. just like the stifness in the spine, try making the flow of her armsa bit more dynamic

nitpicky but: her left shoulder should be more spherical, it's sort of creeping into her bicep. she could use more stomach area/longer torso. I compress the length of the torso too and leave out room for a stomach

otherwise I like the face, and the paws. it's just a simple pic and don't have a lot of detail which is fine and look nice. details like the scarf and neck floof are good touches. the breasts and hips are good shapes and proportions. the figure itself is relatively well proportioned.

gud jorb

Wow, pretty refreshing to see some somewhat decent lesbian pics for once. My biggest issue with these are the toes. You have the right idea if you're going for that nice, paw-sy, realistic extended canine toe that's not just a flat Rarakie stump, and I like that a lot. But a few things:

-They're a bit too small to be a canines
-The dew paw itself doesn't pop out that much
-You're actually making them a bit TOO long considering these girls are canines. Study some pics of some real life canine paws to help give you a better grasp. Again, I really like the fact that you're going for that more realistic look and I love the fact that they're not flat looking, but you gotta make them a bit shorter. Right now they look more like ape feet.

Also, you're drawing the arms too thin. I know that they're females, but the arms still shouldn't be -that- thin. Thicken them up a bit.

But honestly your anatomy and perspective is not THAT bad so do keep it up especially that sexy lesbian stuff

dewclaws are something I add sort of as an afterthought, i personally like the idea of a dewclaw, but maybe not so much the execution. The feet shapes are sort of a hybrid between digigrade and plantigrade in my mind, so while they like to walk on the balls of their feet, they CAN walk on their heels if they want (which would probably be uncomfortable), a style I use for if they want to wear slutty heals or just regular shoes.

I lack definition on a lot of things because I don't really have the setup for reference pics right now, arms an shoulders I sort of round out and make pretty small. I'll look at some arm refs to make them bulkier, and I do end to make them pretty tiny to begin with. What I don't want to do is this inexplicable style of 'popeye' arms that has been cropping up recently. It looks more feral but it's pretty memey and looks wierd imo.

as far as perspective I sketch purely in lines instead of shapes, but that is something I want to practice with to get a better grasp of depth and figures

Your lines are uniform and have the same consistent density. Your faces feel like an afterthought due to how simple they are. Interesting faces are more expressive and have a range of value and line hierarchy. Also, work on more varied compositions.

Studying value can help in that regard. It feels like you're heavily focused on the action (sex) and not enough composition and craftsmanship. That's more of a broad problem in furry art though. You can have sex/fetish material AND fun, appealing art!
