If you've found some bug anywhere on the site, this is the place to whine about it.
yeah uh... there's a lot of FUR PORN ON HERE.
you might want to fix that.
Actually, yeah. I know I said in the thread for this place that the button at top disappeared on mouseover? They all disappear on mouseover. Some sort of CSS fuckup?
>>3
can you take a screenshot.. or something? i need specifics.
Not really. Basically, mouseover, menu pops down, go to select an option, mouseover option, menu goes away.
That's about it.
>>5
oh.. what browser are you using? opera or internet explorer?
>>7
Stupid people do. I only asked if it were one of the those two because they are the only ones that seem to be having that problem.
Technically it's in the rules to download firefox for lulz.net SO I DON'T HAVE TO FIX IT. (the truth of it is that i am too lazy and will figure it out eventually)
Alrighty. I'd use firefox, but it is slow, and mangles certain CSS. I'll stick to my guns.
I,m one of the brainless imps who uses IE and have no problems at all.
>>10
I am very glad to hear that. The topbar stays at the top and everything?
yup, everything works fine
netscape works too, so you dont need firefox
Well, that's because firefox and netscape now (as far as I know) use the same engine and are, therefore, the same browser.
callback links are broken. You know, the
>>12345
ones.
>>16
on the image board, that is. they work fine here.
>>16
ya i know etc etc. will fix when i have some time. work etc :]
also, fixed. it didn't retroactively fix the >>12345 links but all new ones will work fine fine fine. cookies are also fixed etc.
all is well. all is well.
Well, here's another report of the links at top popping away under Opera, 9.22, behaves as described in the posts above, fortunately I could view source to navigate this fine site.
Needs more horse.
Upgraded to Opera 9.24, still has this issue
Greetings. I'm a noob.
These past few days have proven all the worst fears of leading memeticists and steroid abusing hackers alike, the Cancer literally renders /b/ unable to counter an attack that literally threatens its existence on the internets. If 4chan, previously reputed to be the strongest of all the *chans not based in or created for japan, cannot cope with such an attack, then quite frankly no chan is safe. This is most convincingly illustrated by the ferocity of lulz.net ddos attacks on 7chan, although it had been listed among the former's allies just a few days before. But there is some hope yet, 7chan responded to the surprise assault in very much the same way the Soviet Union did when it faced down with Hitler, scorching their own /b/ and redirecting to Colette, in order to buy time for a counter offensive. A sailchanner told me, the proud sons of 7chan will fight on, neither forgiving, nor forgetting, the treachery of the furry.
7chan's tenacity may very well have been the cause of their falling out with the lulz.net furfags, after all as a chan much smaller than 4chan, yet perpetually at war, their very existence proves Darwin's Theory of Evolution which states that organisms that are forced to compete will evolve, and therefore improve. As lulz.net is full of creationists who believe that a single bloated organism with no competition is a good idea, they obviously saw a threat to their new internets order.
Perhaps an explanation is in order, many of you are wondering how exactly has Anonymous's power level decreased to under 9,000 in less than half a year. The truth, to be told plainly, is that the cancer causes apathy. Many of us laughed when 4chan was taken out, after all, isn't 4chan overrun with AIDS and FAIL as it is? Besides, were packed with moar steroids than them rite? Well thats what 7chan thought, before they got raped in the ass by niggers whose cocks were still hard and dripping from packing the aids infested fudge at 4chan.
However, that still didn't faze us, 7chan is full of furfags anyhow. Us over at 420chan, they'll never dare to touch us. It doesn't matter that Kirt laughed in their furfag faces when presented with an ultimatum similar to the one moot got. Oh wait it does matter, and guess what, when 420 is closed, Anons will say, “oh 420chan was full of druggies, nothing of value etc.” Anonymous has become so apathetic we might as well go to iichan before that gets taken down too. You might wonder why i mentioned iichan, the truth is lulz.net can no longer conceal their malicious intent by pretending to just want to attack 4chan. Though militarily not as powerful as ages past, 4chan has remained the cultural heart of Anonymous, spawning unforgettable memes and being a narcissistic asshole to pretty much everyone else. That along with lulz.net's well publicized drive for unification, constitutes an attack on Anonymous and the Anonymous subculture respectively.
Here is where the true nature of the enemy is revealed, everyone knows that lulz.net is a haven for furfags, but many forget that it is something far more sinister. The conflict that has split the Internet since primeval times, a never ending struggle between two arch enemies, The Anonymous Legion and the Namefag menace. Now the mystery begins to unravel, the puzzle is solved. IRC, by default, encourages nicknames, and although one could in theory be named Anonymous, their guidelines specifically discourage it, and Anonymous are banned left and right. Anonymous is a forum dwelling creature, in IRC, he is out of his native element. This is the realm of the NameTURKEY SAMMICH, and they do live there in faggatious bliss, if such a thing exists, building reputations by acting cooler than eachother, and judging ideas based on the repute of the namefag who said it. Basically doing everything that Anonymous stands against.
And to those of us who think that our respective chans are too powerful to be messed with, think again. Nobody saw this one coming. Moot ignored them only to burn his tongue on hot soup when he finally saw what was happening. 7Chan boycotted their network in protest, only to find out how ready lulz.net was to turn on a friend. And yet we still laugh, when we should be fighting back. Anonymous must prove that forums are superior to irc or the Legion will fall.
So it is up to Anonymous. 4ailchanners without a clue, sailchanners here with no place to go, and 420fags tripping balls, all are refugees or were at some point in time, even you. But its time to stop running, away. If we are to prove that Anonymous is Legion, we will DESTROY lulz.net and show the namefags the power of Anonymous. And when they beg for mercy we will show them none, for that is the price of failure.
>>23
7chan tried to ddos lulznet and had no effect. minutes later, 7chan's irc and website were taken down. coincidence? :)
4chan was ddosed "for the lulz" not because moot didn't move the #4chan IRC channel. that was just an excuse for some dumb people to be even more dumb.
anyway, done responding to copy/pasta from an idiot.
My host is b&, I cannot post :<
Right now, our school (College, yes, I'm over 18) blocks all ports except 80, 443, and a few others. Every image that I see directs to 8080, which is one of those blocked ports. However, by simply changing the port number in the link, I can view the image.
Does not work: http://img.lulz.net:8080/src/Forgotten_city_zastavki_com_9594_18.jpg
Works:http://img.lulz.net:80/src/Forgotten_city_zastavki_com_9594_18.jpg
Why does the page load in port 80, but images in port 8080?
It doesn't work on 8080 because your school blocks it. We are using lighttpd to serve our images in order to reduce our server load. When you go through port 80 the server knows to forward that request to port 8080, so basically you're proxying to port 8080.
i think something wrong with the share thread!
cuz there is some threads that i cant complatly check like like the pleasure bon bon thread.
when i press on the thread i get like 310 or 340 post but i cant see the new ones.
even when i press the entire thread choic or the last 50 post i still
cant view the last one
(unles some one post in them and then i can see the new posts when they get in thefirst 10 threads).
i even tryed firefox but its the same - is it me or the thread?
I keep getting this issue with furfags and pornography catered to zoophiles and pedophiles.
Having trouble trying to make a new topic on the /flash/ board. When I hit browse and select my file, the "browse" box remains blank.
>>30
the file is there. when firefox 3 came out the size and font color of some forms changed with it, so the background and text color of the file form on /flash/ are both white. i haven't gotten around to changing that like i did on /furi/.
Hay, cho0b. I just got redirected to speedapps.com/adspace_bc.asp by some full-window ad (the ones where you have to click "continue" or whatever to get to the site you want, because they block it). I tried goign back to /furi/, but it kept redirectan me. The site I was redirected to was also empty, completely white.
I believe to remember that you once said you don't like ads like that? And I couldn't find the proper contact site, stupid as I am, lul. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact address of the ad which redirected me (rather, I forgot screenshotting it).
>>32
what browser are you using and do you have any extensions installed?
>>33
Firefox 3.0.8
Extensions:
AdblockPlus; Downloadhelper; Downthemall; Flashgot;
RefControl (deactivated atm)
Should be the relevant ones.
>>34
are you still experiencing the problem or did it just happen that one time? also if you can find the URL of the ad i can look into it further.
>>35
Only happened that one time, though I'm thinking this is because it's one of those "only once a day" ads which somehow know through my cookies or whatever the hell that I've visited already. I've seen ads like that on other sites, but none has redirected me as of now like this one.
>>36
It's possible that it happened because I switched our ads from blacklabelads to etology ads and there was some sort of... advertising mixup... I really don't know. @_@ Just let me know if it happens again.
>>37
A+++, would bitch again.
I'll try getting the name of the site redirecting me, too.
"An Advertisment by Reality Redefined"
http://img56.imageshack.us/img56/4150/adthing.png
Note: It didn't redirect me today. But it's the exact same ad as yesterday.
FFFUUUUU-
Fucking imageshack.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Lynneth_del_Serpentas/Adthing.png
>>42
Oh lawd, your browser looks kind of stiff.
That add made your browser a bit board.
You had to look at some really good porn, even the browser got wood.
Do you turn off your FIREwall when you launch your internet browser?
etc. etc.
But seriously, cho0b fix the command menu at the top of the page. Don't know why but only on Opera it instantly slides back when you try to pick any destination/command.
>>43
Oh so punny.
I like the skin for FF I'm using.
>>44
With a bad taste for customizing like that, your opinion dosn't matter. Enjoy your redirecting.
>>45
To each his own is my motto.
Now either gtfo or show me a superior skin.
Choob, I got the redirect-ad again.
This time I screened it.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v284/Lynneth_del_Serpentas/Adthing2.png
"Make Big Money Fast"
>>47
Maybe it's because you're from germany.
>>47
yeah, i've been experiencing some problems with the interstitials too. i'll definitely be looking into this.
Yeah Cho0b, I keep having the same issue, for whatever reason, whenever I try and get onto /furi/ the scroll-bar on the side of the screen disapears and I either get redirected completely, or nothing comes up aside from the darker overlay on the entire page. No matter how many times I refresh I can't get it to work, and this is on both IE and FireFox.
I'm getting "Internal server error" every time I try to post. /furi/ and this board too.
>>51
that's a resource related error. just wait a bit and some of the swap memory will free up and normal posting can continue. our resources are limited because our funding is minimal.
now i'm getting the ad thing loading mp4 audio commercials
i can hear the annoyances now kill it please
/share/ isn't working.
>404 Error
>We're currently experiencing some problems with the /share/ board.
>Somehow it is leeching all of the memory on the server,
>so it is currently shutdown until we can figure out how to solve this.
I don't know if this matters, but Avast told me it had to terminate a link with a malicious site as I entered /furi. I don't remember the link, and it doesn't seem to be logged.
>>57
It does matter. It is possible that it was catching something that was not a real VIRUS but any malicious ads need to be reported so that we can get them removed from the ad pool.
/furi/ content just disappeared.
Oh, and it seems that whoever bawwleeted the threads also banned several users from posting, including myself.
I have no proxies to hide behind, and I'd still like to post content on /furi/, so if you get the chance...
:3
Makes /furi/ the second place ever where I've been banned. First was fchan of of course...
one of the mods was trying to keep the flood contained and some users that weren't flooding got caught up in it. all of the misguided bans should be gone, but if not just get a hold of me.
Choob. Avast just caught another malicious .js. Log entry is as follows:
Sign of "HTML:Iframe-inf" has been found in "h ttp://smileyadv.net/sc46/flashwrapv10.js" file.
Two days ago I received three similar warnings:
Sign of "JS:FakeAV-K [Trj]" has been found in "h ttp://thestabiliityweb.com/index.php?affid=07100" file.
Sign of "JS:FakeAV-G [Trj]" has been found in "h ttp://thestabilityweb.com/js/flist.js" file.
Sign of "HTML:Iframe-gen" has been found in "h ttp://www.vvfinder.net/go/home.php" file
>>63
What flood? There was no flood. I think said mod is feeding you BS.
>>67
point is moot. mod isn't a mod anymore. :[
>>66
ya, i informed them about this already. waiting for them to sort it out.
share board's broken
I am getting many similar warnings, as well as a flood of shitty pop-up and pop-under adds that I assume have to do with the same ad which is. LiveJasmine/etc. is also launching secondary intersitials on top of the meatwad one, but I dunno if that was planned or not.
>>71
there should be ZERO pop-up ads. the pop-unders are an option that we are currently trying out. i require more information about malicious ads (such as their exact URL) so that I can get them removed from the ad pool.
the 'secondary' interstitials could just be the different ad zones unknowingly fighting against each other. this should die down as i remove some of the ads over time. we are still determining which ads make us the most money for what they do, so please stick with us.
what a bout the sharebord, will it be fixed?
http://clickarrows.com/go/to.php?id=clicksor
comes up randomly when on lulz and drains all my comps ram and cpu, it also leves a blank program window about a square in big in middle of srean that always is in front of other windows. is anyone else getting this popup?
do u have any idea about when the share thread will be fixed?
Still getting these obnoxious malicious js warnings...
and >>71
this
I can't load the main board right now. is anyone else having this problem?
>>76
i haven't got any of the malicious warnings recently (i use avast) but if you do please give me the ad URLs. the ones already discussed in this thread and on /furi/ have been removed. it's possible there are more, though. try to keep me updated.
>>77
still having this problem?
>>75
>>73
i have a few ideas with what i want to do with /share/. the only problem right now is that I am the only one who can do 'work' for /furi/ and my skills are limited not to mention i have a lot of stuff going on right now.
>>78 oh i thought there is some other people helping you!
i wish that you can ask for some one here to help you but this place
is full of asholes that want to crush this place!
>>79
there are a few people who help moderate /furi/. i definitely appreciate their help, but i need to find someone who's willing to help with coding and implementation planning.
>>80 i guess finding some one who's good with that and into furi is close to 0.01% or even helping for this type of sites
if for money they wont care with the hell is on it but free....hard to find!
i hope it will be fixed soon <3

Search on Google:Pictures work fine but the reply to a thread is busted.
>>82
I have a few older threads bookmarked as well that aren't opening up but the pictures work fine. Hmmm
>>84
Scratch that, front page threads not working too.
i'm pretty sure it's a symbol for something ... maybe choob pre-announced it in the adds and noone knows it bc everyone is blocking them D:
We're DOOOOMED
when it comes back can we have own our cub/babyfur board or atleast a sticky ?
>>87 You can't troll here, it doesn't work.
Yep, something is up with /furi/. I personally can't see any replies, and when I do the page claims to not exist. There's also an error when trying to start a new thread, I guess I should copypasta the message.
>>89
Clearly nobody, since you suck so hard at it.
i was suspicious bc i didn't see new replies for hours ...
Funny thing http://flockdraw.com/furi is pretty active
Well, I can acess everything just fine but replying.

Replies keep showing up in the wrong thread; both mine and others. If I delete my Lulz cookies they appear correctly. Exiting and restarting Firefox doesn't do the trick. I have to delete cookies.
